Pilates Workshops for Riders

Work on your strength and flexibility ready for the 2020 season, guided by
experienced Pilates and Fitness Instructor Agneta Lindberg.

What is it?
A workshop on strength and flexibility for all riders – suitable for all levels of fitness and flexibility (or lack of!), and all ages. If participants wish, we can video Agneta's instruction and upload it so that you can practice at home between the sessions.

Is it just another fitness class?
Agneta will start with a structured Pilates class, with plenty of opportunity to get hands on help, and then open up for discussion and individual guidance, answering any questions you have about suitable exercises, stretching, and fitness training of any sort. Just as in a ridden  clinic, you can stay and listen to instruction given to other participants and ask  any questions you have. You can then go home and work on your own. If you want to discuss anything or ask for further advice, you can also contact Agneta by email afterwards.

Who is teaching?
Agneta Lindberg is a certified by ACE as a Group Exercise Instructor and Personal Trainer. She is also a qualified Pilates Instructor trained by Body Control Pilates, UK. She has over 30 years’ experience in the fitness industry and used to be a rider so she has a good understanding of the fitness needs of horse riders.

Dates & time:

The lesson will be during the 1h 15 mins, and remaining time will be in workshop format. Book in 10 days in advance, please.

What do I need to bring?:
Wear comfortable clothes, bring a yoga mat if you have one - we have quite a few mats too.

£10 per person per session – including tea/coffee and cake! No need to commit to more than one session.

Staunton Village Hall, nr Coleford, Gloucestershire, GL16 8NX. Plenty of parking at the rear.
